Cooking Classes

    In addition to offering private and group cooking lessons through Great Taste, Chef Danielle teaches recreational
    cooking classes at a number of local venues. Her straightforward, technique-driven cooking style has made her a
    popular instructor at both L’Academie de Cuisine and Williams-Sonoma. Chef Danielle has also taught classes at
    Sur La Table, ProKitchen and TasteDC.

    Food Writing

    Chef Danielle is a contributor to ChefsBest.org and has written and styled features for The Food Network Holiday
    Survival Guide and the Food Network Magazine, publications produced by the Food Network and distributed
    through Scripps-Howard newspapers. Her articles have informed readers how to prepare and package food as
    gifts for the holiday season; extolled the virtues of the hamburger and its place in American culinary history; and
    taught children to prepare homemade, edible gifts for their teachers. Her food writing credits also include serving
    as Contributing Editor at Restaurant Digest, a monthly trade publication covering the foodservice industry in
    Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., where she wrote feature articles about all aspects of the regional
    foodservice industry. Chef Danielle has written feature articles on restaurants and food for the Prince George’s
    Gazette and penned “At the Table,” a monthly recipe column.

    Food Styling

    The Food Network has contracted Chef Danielle to work as a freelance food stylist, assisting network
    personalities  Rachael Ray, of "Thirty-Minute Meals" fame and Giada Dilaurentiis, star of "Everyday Italian,"  with
    cooking demonstrations and media appearances in the Washington, D.C. area.

    Cooking Demonstrations

    Chef Danielle conducts cooking demonstration both in private homes and for corporate clients. Her corporate
    clients have included A.T. Kearney, Inc., the National Kidney Foundation of the National Capital Area, Shire
    Pharmaceuticals, Mercy Medical Center, the Tavis Smiley Road to Health Expo, Carroll County Hospital and a
    host of individual clients.

    Recipe Development

    Chef Danielle developed original vegetarian recipes as a featured chef in The Baltimore Sun's 'Makeover My
    Meal' series. She also developed original recipes for Aqui Brazilian Coffee House in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The
    coffee house features a Brazilian-themed menu, including recipes for Brazilian Caesar Salad, Aqui Pasta Salad
    and Arepas with three original toppings, created by Chef Danielle.

    Media

    Chef Danielle has appeared on Maryland Public Television's 'Your Money & Business,' WHUT’s “Evening
    Exchange with Kojo Namdi,” where she discussed the business of being a personal chef and she was featured on
    WUSA Channel 9’s Morning News show promoting her special Valentine’s Day Table for Two package. Chef
    Danielle and Great Taste were selected by 97.1 WASH FM radio station to participate in their Stress-Free Days of
    May promotion where one lucky listener won personal chef service for a year from Great Taste. She has also
    appeared on “Recipes from the Chef’s Kitchen,” a cooking show on Fairfax County Cable.

    Chef Danielle lives in Bowie, Maryland with her husband and daughter.
