Cooking Demonstrations
Great Taste cooking demonstration to your next corporate event, bridal shower, dinner party or get together. We'll create a menu or theme to suit your event and Chef Danielle will entertain you and your guests with a fun and informative demonstration. Great Taste Cooking Demonstrations include: * Tasting samples of each item prepared for each participant * Recipe booklets for each participant * Gift for each participant Planning a conference or meeting? Chef Danielle can customize a demonstration featuring recipes or menus to fit your audience, whether you're looking to simply entertain your participants or educate them about nutrition or a specific diet. Corporate Clients Chef Danielle has conducted cooking demonstrations for a number of corporate clients, including A.T. Kearney, Hadco/Viking, Mercy Medical Center of Baltimore, the National Kidney Foundation, the Tavis Smiley Road to Health Expo and Shire Pharmaceuticals. We offer a variety of corporate teambuilding activities for groups of all sizes. Hands On Cooking Experience $80 per person (10 person minimum) Chef Danielle will bring the cooking school to your home or office with a Great Taste hands-on cooking class. She will work with you to create an appropriate menu (breakfast, lunch or dinner) for your group and location and arrive with all the tools and ingredients you’ll need. After a brief demonstration, your group will be divided into teams that will work together to prepare your meal. Our Hands-On Cooking Experience Includes: * brief cooking demonstration by Chef Danielle * participants work together to prepare a full meal * recipe booklets for each participant * aprons for each participant * gift for each participant GREAT TASTE COOK –OFF $85 per person (10 participant minimum, additional guests may watch the competition if your space allows) Treat your team to our version of ‘Iron Chef’ with a Great Taste Cook-Off. After a brief cooking demonstration, your group will be divided into teams who will work together to prepare a dish or meal featuring a ‘secret’ ingredient in one hour. During the competition, each team will be given culinary lifelines to help them prepare their dish – two Ask the Chef cards, which will allow them two minutes to consult with Chef Danielle either by asking a question or asking her to assist them with one technique or task; and one Cookbook Card, which they can turn in for an opportunity to consult one of the many cookbooks Chef Danielle will bring to your event.
